Abstract:
The development and use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), in training in organizations, are essential to facilitate the acquisition and updating of individuals' knowledge. This study aimed to evaluate the quality of an online training on Pressure Injury (PI) for nurses. This is an exploratory-descriptive study, developed in the city of São Paulo, at the University Hospital of the University of São Paulo. 97 nurses participated in this study who worked in units with patients at higher risk of developing Pressure Injury. An online training on PI was developed and implemented, consisting of four modules containing a forum, interactive classes developed with Articulate® software, a library with scientific articles and guidelines, videos and feedback exercises. In order to represent pathophysiology, staging and regions vulnerable to PI developing, Virtual Man was used - a third dimensional graphic computational resource that enhances the knowledge apprehension through spatial and visual abilities. The evaluation of the quality of the online training was based on the "Instrument for Assessment of the Quality of Learning Objects", proposed by the Central Coordination of Distance Education, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. This instrument is composed of 3 categories: Software, video and audio. The data were submitted to descriptive statistical analyzes and Pearson correlation coefficients, with the aid of software ® R 3.2.2. The Cronbach's Alpha coefficient was used to verify the internal consistency of the scale (0.941). The online training was evaluated by fourteen specialists in the areas of stomatology and distance education and by 35 nurses, being considered that the training has quality to help in a meaningful way the learning and the training of the nurses on PI. The results of the evaluation show that the online training adds knowledge to the nurses and contribute to the implementation of new educational technologies in the permanent actions of training and development of the nursing professionals.
