Abstract:
The objective of this research was to reinforce collaborative work in the teaching-learning process of the Experimental Sciences Pedagogy career at UTMACH (according to Spanish acronyms), through Virtual Learning Environments (EVA, according to Spanish acronyms). For the creation of the EVA, the Moodle platform was used as it is a free and interactive tool, which provides educators, administrators, and students with a single, solid, and secure integrated system for the creation of personalized courses. A Virtual Private Server (VPS) was used as accommodation for access to stored data, activities, at the same time, the options they provide for carrying out collaborative activities were analyzed. The study was applied to a population constituted by 85 students and six teachers from the different groups of the fifth level of the Experimental Sciences Pedagogy career. Theoretical and empirical methods were used that allowed the collection and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data. The analysis of the data obtained showed favorable results for teachers and students since it promoted collaboration in tasks, the interaction between students, and increased creativity and motivation; strengthening the teaching-learning process in synchronous and asynchronous lessons.
