Abstract:
The continuous progress of information and communicative technologies has led to the rising interest in the incorporation of technological tools into the educational context. The mobile device is one of those that has generated contradictions, because, despite of the fact that students and professors recognize its importance, there are still insufficiencies that limit the proper use in academic activities and have caused it to be considered as distracting in education. Based on the systematization of the theoretical and methodological fundamentals, this research proposes the use of mobile devices, through the Nearpod virtual platform, in order to strengthening the teaching-learning process of the Pedagogy Career of Experimental Sciences at the Technical University of Machala. The population consisted of the 183 students enrolled in the career, who used mobile devices in the different subjects during a semester.
