Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of non formal educational and vocational courses for livestock owners in City of Ashtian. It was applied type research and descriptive and correlative methods were used. The population for study was 120 livestock owners who attended the educational courses and 240 owners who did not attend the educational courses. A questionnaire was developed to collect the data and the data was analyzed by SPSS win software.The results from t-test and Man Whitney shows that there was difference between two group of livestock owners in area of quality of livestock, appropriate usage of resources, quality of educational contents, quality of educational materials, self confidence in job, increasing the quality of meat, increasing the quantity of meat, increasing the income and motivation.The findings also indicated that there was relationship between dependent variable and educational level, appropriateness of content of educational courses, work experience as independent variables.The regression analysis shows that applied education, work experience, scientific visits and appropriateness of educational contents had impact on dependent variable.
