Abstract:
The use of technology has greatly benefited education, there are emerging technologies that have not yet been implemented in education, they are still in the experimental phase, currently the use of the fan is focused on advertising and it creates floating three-dimensional images in the air, resulting in an immersive viewing experience. To implement this technology in education requires an analysis of the specific needs of students and the identification of the subject areas in which three-dimensional objects can be applied effectively, improving student learning by doing it in a way entertaining. This project is focused on implementing this tool in the field of education, for which a series of three-dimensional objects specifically designed to address issues of the indifferent units were developed, in this case we focused on biology with the theme of panspermia, they were developed three-dimensional objects using Cinema 4D software and are adapted for display on the holographic fan. One of the objectives is to identify if it is pertinent and efficient to implement this tool in the classroom, for which a sample group of 25 students of an age range of 15 to 18 years of upper secondary level was requested, presenting the use of the
holographic fan and three-dimensional content, the impact of this intervention on the learning process of the students was evaluated.
The results obtained indicate that the use of three-dimensional objects in combination with the holographic fan has a positive effect on student learning. Students show greater interest, generate new experiences, participation and understanding of the concepts presented through this technology, compared to traditional teaching methods.
