Abstract:
The EEES incorporates in the teaching/learning process methodological strategies and learning resources oriented towards a self-directed learning. This kind of learning entails to the student different strategies including motorization (e.g. learning pills) and self-assessment (e.g. rubric). The learning pills help the students to organise and understand the material and the rubric helps to establish progress in terms of competencies..

Knowledge Pills or Learning Pills is one of the innovative tools in teaching e-learning. These pills aim to train students by using small pieces of information that can be used when and where needed.

The implementation of the rubric was performed as follows: definition of the assessment criteria, establishment of quality of work scoring system and a brief explanation regarding the category that will be assessed. This rubric is delivered at the beginning of the activity so that the students can establish the work objectives in accordance with the subsequent evaluation. Finally an analysis of the implications of these strategies is held.
