Abstract:
Writing is a key skill and one of the most fundamental and powerful learning tools used to demonstrate knowledge and communication. So, this research regarding the model of Self-regulated Strategy Development (SRSD) in writing has proved its effectiveness, mainly in improving the writing and the development of metacognitive skills in students who struggle with writing. According to the results of the investigation are well-known technology tools the benefits of learning of writing. Children are becoming experienced users of digital communication and are increasingly familiar with writing digital and online, making it relevant change in attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors of teachers and educational communities.

Thus, this communication aims to present the new model created: SRSD + ICT with compiling various theories and concepts scientifically tested to be effective for improving the quality of writing. According to the results, the association between the SRSD and ICT can improve the quality of the writing process student’s texts. We also hope that it will contribute to an increase of adequate resources among education professionals and students with writing problems.
