Abstract:
The article highlights the experience in the field of organizing and conducting advanced training courses for the teachers of mathematics held by Naberezhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University, the Russian Federation (the Republic of Tatarstan). This higher educational establishment has acquired the experience in organizing advanced education in mathematics for secondary school students and the faculty of mathematics students on the basis of the center of mathematical education. Besides, the problem of teachers of mathematics availability to solve the problems connected with the issues of the Federal State Educational Standard of the basic general education is being discussed. Some data on the methodological foundations of the teachers of mathematics professional development, the forms of improving the quality of mathematical education, the development of students’ mathematical thinking and stimulation of interest in learning of mathematical studies with children, teenagers and the youth are given.
