Abstract:
This paper reviews the influence of neuroscience on the regulation of emotions in learning and academic achievement, particularly focusing on the practice of personalization in educational experiences. It presents how emotional regulation, cognitive functioning, and academic achievement interrelate with each other, while discussing the impacts of stress and anxiety within learning environments. The neurobiological basis of emotional regulation and its relevance at various developmental stages are explored. It also provides information on cultural and social influences, as well as potential interventions informed by neuroscience, to support emotional and academic outcomes. Noting the integration of mindfulness, meditative practices, and technological advances, this study encourages the further development of neuroscience-informed educational programs in service to diverse learning needs and improvement of mental health among students. Keywords:
