Abstract:
Globally speaking, IT governance represents the processes that ensure the effective and efficient use of IT in enabling an organization/project to achieve its goals. However, in a particular approach, IT governance sometimes encounters a number of obstacles when it comes to achieving its goals. Within this paper, issues that arise from the convergence between IT governance and the everchanging cybersecurity landscape of the XXI century, with an emphasis on project sustainability, will be thoroughly discussed. Dynamics and complexity of cyber security incidents determine the development of learning and awareness programs. These programs can be supported by adult education in lifelong learning programs, formal, non-formal or informal education.
This paper presents modern learning tools in adult education centered on improving cybersecurity culture and raising cybersecurity awareness, in formal and non-informal context.
