Abstract:
As a result of the developed experimental model of training in font and typography in the field of graphic design and its successful experimental verification, the model has been implemented in the training of students in graphic design at the bachelor's degree. For this purpose, a curriculum has been designed and developed, which this article aims to present. The main components of the curriculum are described: educational goals and expected learning outcomes, mainly applied teaching methods, planned learning activities, learning tools, learning content with consecutive thematic units and credits, theoretical and practical part, including various learning tasks and materials for self-preparation. The role and the place of the course in the program plan of the specialty and the many interdisciplinary connections that the discipline implements with the other courses is presented. At the end, there are some important conclusions about the possibilities for application of the curriculum for both face-to-face and online forms of education. In addition, it clarifies the potential for deepening and expanding the learning contents offered by the curriculum.
