Abstract:
This paper reviews the using of a web-based educational administration site in which the traceability functions of the educational process are implemented. Classical approaches for archiving the results from self-study and tests are embedded into the system, which allow observation of knowledge acquisition.Functions for acquiring skills in observance of discipline in carrying classes are embedded into the system in order to teach respect for procedures and deadlines. The application of web-based environment for electronic support of the auditorium based education, control and accomplishment of scientific projects allows solving effectively some additional tasks in the education. These include students and industry staff to observe the deadlines and procedures, to adopt the requirement for the results archiving and team activity. The importance of electronic means for quick processing of the results of statistical data on the courses is significant. Functions for acquiring skills in observance of discipline in carrying classes are embedded into the system in order to teach respect for procedures and deadlines. There are procedures for attendance and delays control, tasks deadlines, bonuses and sanctions related to each class. This information is available to all registered users. The process traceability functions are enhanced in the direction of learner’s and teacher’s activities. The main function performed by the site is to create procedural skills in students. While performing many complex tasks, such as elective projects in quality and reliability, the observation of certain sequences within certain time limits is necessary.
