Abstract:
Purpose:
The purpose of this study is to examine the concept of quality in Higher Education as well as the application of the Six Sigma methodology in Greek Tertiary Education.
For this purpose a bibliographic review of the implementation of the Six Sigma methodology at Universities will be carried out and the advantages of this methodology will be analyzed.

Methodology:
Six Sigma methodology will be applied to the satisfaction measurement of a sample of 312 pre-service teachers using the SERVQUAL scale.

Findings:
The work analyzes the results of the Lean Six Sigma methodology in Greek Higher Education as well as the trends in quality in Greek Universities. The results of the application demonstrate the utility and usability of Six Sigma in Higher Education in contributing to improving the quality of Higher Education.

Research Limitations / Implication:
The paper calls for more research on how the Six Sigma quality policy can be applied to Greek Tertiary Education and can be used as a basis for future work.

Originality / value:
The paper significantly covers the gap in Greek literature on Six Sigma quality policy, expanding existing literature, focusing on six Sigma methodology.
