Abstract:
Teaching is a bilateral process that should prepare both teachers and students. For this process, it is important for the teacher to master a foreign language, in this case, the English language. Expertise is also important especially when it is time to select and apply strategies and techniques to help and motivate EFL students. This fact leads to breaking certain norms that have embarked teaching on a path where new ideas nourish the learning process of the student and raise their culture not only in the language itself but in customs, ideas, religions, food, and an artistic world of other countries that until that moment are not known. Developing the teaching of the English language implies taking didactic decisions that manage to interweave the culture and to ascend in the student until achieving changes not only in the knowledge but in the behavior and attitude towards life as a student and future professional from a teaching that promises to be the link of an entire education.

The work presented is the synthesis of the experience of the authors and the implementation of many years of service to an education that is becoming very demanding. The intention of this work is to provide English teachers especially preservice teachers, with useful didactic strategies that can be applied in any of their EFL lessons.
