Abstract:
This study aims at investigating the influency of a training program for the mental skills (relaxation – imagination – attention) to learn the performance of the basic skills of croll swimming for the beginner swimmers who suffer from hype-activity and A.D.H.D. The two researchers have used the experimental method to design one group. They have performed two measurements. One of them was before implementing the program and the other was after implementing the program . The study has been made on a sample of beginner swimmers from the swimmers who applied to learn and train swimming in Cairo's clubs. The medium age of this sample is 8 years. The measurement for hyper-activity is S.D. (3.45 ) and the m. for A.D.H.D.( 30) and S.D. Implementing the program has taken 8 weeks – 3 training session a week. The most important results have shown the value of T. test 7.3 between the average of before and after measurements of the sample in the hyperactivity. While value of T. test 4.6 between the average of before and after measurements for the sample research in the lack of attention. Significant differences between the before and after measurements an improvement of about( 65%) has been shown at the A.D.H.D. sample. Another important result was that the boys showed more improvement than girls and that the percentage of improvement increases for the older age.
