Abstract:
Introduction:
The modern period of the development of society is characterized by a huge influence on it of computer technologies, which penetrate into all spheres of human activity, ensure the spread of information flows in society, forming a global information space. An integral and important part of these processes is the computerization of education. Computer technologies are intended to become not an additional area in learning, but an integral part of the entire educational process, which significantly increases its effectiveness. The period of the global pandemic and the fight against coronavirus, the transfer of students and schoolchildren to distance learning in many countries, showed the need to use information technologies in education.
Purpose:
The growing popularity of the latest computer technologies among students has a significant impact on changing the traditional model of the educational system and teaching and learning methods around the world. Following e-learning, a completely new direction has formed - massive open online courses (MOOCs).The wide distribution and recognition of MOOCs in the world suggests that this is a completely different, with its pros and cons, approach to the educational process. Massive open online resources are named among the 30 most promising trends in the development of education until 2028, opening up new opportunities in the field of distance education.
Methods:
The methodological basis of the study is based on the application of the principles of modeling and analogy. Both research methods made it possible to predict possible prospects for the application of information technology in education in the future. The principle of comparative analysis was also used, which allows to highlight similarities and differences of methods used in modern Russia with the existing practice of the countries of Europe, where the development of application of information technologies in education is already much longer. The comparative method helped to draw parallels with advances in e-learning.
Results:
The use of information technology has many-sided possibilities in research activities. In the lessons of generalization and systematization of knowledge and methods of activity, students can carry out design and creative work using Internet resources. This type of work develops the creative, research abilities of students, increases their activity, creates conditions for self-expression of students, allows you to intensify the educational process, intensify cognitive activity, and increase the effectiveness of the lesson.
Conclusion:
The development of distance education technologies and the use of digital educational content contribute to expanding access to higher education and are aimed at improving its quality. Today, ICT has deeply penetrated into administrative activities, in the organization of the educational process and scientific research in universities. The constant growth in the level of technology in the computer industry entails an increase in potential opportunities for educational purposes, which in turn are implemented and used in practice. Also, information technologies greatly increase the motivation of people to learn, conduct various research projects, experiments, create innovative projects and articles. Keywords:
