Abstract:
This paper is devoted to the analysis of a teacher proposal. The course is included in the Master's Degree in Road, Canal and Port Engineering. It is one of the only two subjects that are not taught by the specific department of the degree, hence it is very important to provide classes as attractive for the students as possible.

Our approach includes works, exhibitions and written tests both for individual students and for groups of students. On the other hand, we are using a wide variety of media, from classical blackboard to e-beam blackboard, teaching through video or using the advantages that Internet provides. This obeys to the fact that the new plans for Masters and Degrees must be oriented to satisfy the requisites imposed by the European space for higher education. In this context, it is very important to adapt the contents of the different subjects to new technologies so they are more appealling for students and accessible (including theoretical explanations) at any place and time.

The results obtained in the last few years of implementation have been very good for students and for teachers.
