Abstract:
This article seeks to explore the meaning of work in people's lives and what importance continuing education has in personal and professional development. With a brief literature review in segments such as education, psychology, administration and sociology, the aim of the study is to present some concepts and serve as a counterpoint in relation to certain scholars on the subject. The meaning of work, since the beginning of society in production, is examined and discussed by various authors and many other professionals. Numerous issues are raised in related studies and other research. What place does work have in people's lives? Is work a source of personal realization? Is it a life objective or just a social function? Can work be alienating or fetishized? Can the pursuit of continuing education bring people pleasure or suffering? These are some of the issues that this article will address. The methodology used will be a literature review, in addition to the application of an online questionnaire, through a social network, with a diversified public, as the research instrument. The final results were rewarding with various analysis possibilities based on the cross-referencing of variables.Keywords:
