Abstract:

The paper deals with the educational content distribution over the Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) datacasting, using an infrastructure to be installed by a Broadcast TV in southern Brazil. The Broadcaster will install the DTT in 3 cities at once, making the connection between them via a microwave link. The educational content will be added to the signal, and will be distributed simultaneously to all schools that are under the station coverage area. This system will give more flexibility in the educational content distribution, as well as giving students content access in their homes, so that there is greater for the digital inclusion.
