Abstract:
This study investigates the training needs and its obstacles from the point of view of Teachers for Students with Multiple Disabilities. In addition, investigates the differences between these needs based on gender, experience, and level of Education (Bachelor or Master). Dated were collected by using Training Needs and Obstacles Scale (prepared by the researcher) from the point of view of Teachers for Students with Multiple Disabilities. The results indicated that the sort order of training needs were as the following: 1. Employ assistive technology with students with multiple disabilities 2. Activate IEP with students with multiple disabilities 3. Identify the attributes and characteristics of students with multiple disabilities 4. Class Management among students with multiple disabilities 5. Teamwork in working with students with multiple disabilities. For training obstacles from the point of view of Teachers for Students with Multiple Disabilities, the results were: obstacles related to the specialized curriculum, obstacles related to organizing of training courses, then obstacles related to the professnality of trainers. The results also indicated that there were no significant differences in the training needs and obstacles from the point of view of teachers of students with multiple disabilities due to gender, or work experience, but there was significant differences in the training needs due to the level of Education of teachers (Bachelor or Master).
