Abstract:

The objective of this project was to create a portal on Open Education of the Interdisciplinary Network of Educational Research and Innovation in Environments uLearning in Higher Education of the University of Zaragoza. This institutuion, within its aims and objectives as an organization in a public university at the service of society, carries out with this project a declaration of support for Open Education as a statement of principles, strategy and commitment, through support for the Open Education movement and Open Educational Resources (OER); support for the use of open licenses for educational contents, especially those financed with public resources; support strategies and repositories to increase dissemination, the scope and impact of open educational resources; support and commitment, as teachers and authors, to publish teaching materials as open educational resources; support for editing and distribution of open educational resources; support for the use of technologies that faci especially the use of educational resources for people with physical disabilities and for those who do not have access to the Internet and support for those actions in collaboration with other groups or other institutions that promote these ends.

The portal also includes a lot of information about what the OERs are, the open licenses and why to use them.

In addition, this site contains a repository of open resources developed by the Network members such as courses, materials, webinars and access to other open projects.

Finally, our involvement with open education has led us to participate in the Year of Open and Open Education Week, maintaining an active commitment with the educational community to share knowledge in collaboration.
