Abstract:
Nowadays, mobile technologies provide numerous possibilities that can broaden and extend the levels of education as well as enhancing the learning environment. The rapid growth of these new technologies and their increasing convergence provide a powerful instrument to promote the education globally. The latest technologies pave the way for extraordinary learning opportunities. The lavishness of the modernized technologies including the educational applications helps to present new tools that can assist institutions to deliver effective learning platforms for teachers and students respectively. The education systems should yield the advantages of these technologies to improve and facilitate the learning and teaching processes. As we move into the new era of technology, the academic institutions must explore new ways of learning improvements and identify the most rewarding techniques such as using mobile technology initiatives as a tool for open education that can mutually serve up both teachers and students. In this context, this paper describes the details of developing a novel Mobile App that is designed to help both academic teachers and pupils at schools or higher education institutions learn to manage challenges they encounter on a delivery of teaching and learning experiences. The designed mobile app's main objectives are to create a virtual teaching and learning practices environment using the role-paly interaction virtualization. The education institutions can take the real role of a teacher and engage in a role-play conversation where they can choose ranges of responses to the students on different scenarios. The goal is to establish opportunities for the delivery of teaching and learning experiences and allow teachers to know potential challenges that students might face during the pedagogical cycle.
