Abstract:
This research seeks to examine the impact of applying total quality management system (ISO 9001: 2008) on the performance of faculty members and staff affairs Deanship in Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University and achieve an appropriate level of satisfaction to the beneficiaries of the deanship services, and this research aims at the following:
1. Knowing the key concepts of total quality in higher education institutions.
2. Studying the impact of applying the quality management system (ISO 9001: 2008) in the faculty members and staff affairs Deanship on improving the services provided to faculty members and its quality.
3. Knowing the impact of applying the quality management system (ISO 9001: 2008) in the faculty members and staff affairs Deanship on the employees of the other sectors in the university.
4. Clarifying the impact of applying the quality management system (ISO 9001: 2008) in the faculty members and staff affairs Deanship on the employees' job satisfaction in the deanship.

The research results pointed that the application of total quality management system (ISO 9001: 2008) has led to the improvement of performance for the faculty members and staff affairs Deanship employees obviously, also the faculty members of the university and the employees of various sectors have notified the improved performance through the decrease of time it takes to complete their transactions, the lack of Transactions circulation and the quality of provided services in the deanship, also the application of total quality management system has led to the job satisfaction required for the deanship employees.

The researcher recommended a number of recommendations through the research such as: holding workshops and seminars with other Arab and international universities which have applied the total quality management system to benefit from their experience, and the university should establish a training center for improving the performance of the employees in the university after their Recruitment, so they can use the modern technologies and programs on the administrative transactions to contribute to facilitate the application of the quality management system in the university.
