Abstract:
The increasing demand of the senior high school students to go to the university and the higher costs incurred to pursue the higher education are the factors that encourage the Indonesian university to operate more efficiently. This research aims are to analyze and compare the efficiency of Indonesian Education universities by using Data Envelopment Analysis.
This research is carried out in three stages. The first stage is the development of efficiency assessment model, the second stage is the evaluation of the efficiency by using the software, and the third stage is the implementation of efficiency assessment model in 12 universities education in Indonesia. This study will focus on the efficiency analysis of the university education in Indonesia by using DEA method.
The more output is generated using the input available will improve the efficiency of the university. The result of calculations indicates that the Education Universities in Java have averaged better efficiency compared with the Education Universities outside Java.Keywords:
