Abstract:
The present study has investigated the impact of activating digital enrichment mathematics program designed for talented students’ curriculum on students learning. Teachers point of view is a factor to determine the impact of digital enrichment mathematics program package. This study examined the current teachers use of digital enrichment mathematics programs (gifted curriculum). The study measured the extent math teachers activate digital enrichment program when teaching students in the gifted curriculum. Moreover, finding the obstacles instructors face when activating digital enrichment mathematics programs in the talent curriculum. A quantitative descriptive evaluation has been applied to test all the study variables. This research examined a sample of n=33 gifted program senior teachers. They understand the impact of digital enrichment mathematics programs on students learning. Survey tools used to collect data distributed among the study sample. Data were analyzed utilizing statistical SPSS software package done through measuring frequency and percentage (for nominal variables), mean, median, and standard deviation (for interval variables). Findings suggested that teachers have used digital mathematics enrichment programs. Students problem-solving skills ranked first in learning skills learned from the enrichment program. However, the quality of digital enrichment programs can be improved if accompanied by teacher training on how to use digital enrichment programs in their teaching effectively is used before starting the programs. Research results indicated that digital enrichment programs are suitable for the characteristics of gifted students. In terms of the suitability of digital programs used with different computer operating systems, findings confirmed that there is a need for well-prepared technological environments for digital enrichment packages. Therefore, the effect of digital enrichment programs on learning of students indicates that there may be a series of enriching digital activities. Every learning module of the digital enrichment programs has a diversity of activities and helps students to learn better according to their instructors. Based on the results of the current research, a set of recommendations have been reached. One is providing teacher training and technological learning environments. Second is to urge teachers to use digital enrichment software because of its positive impact on increasing student learning.
