Abstract:
Decisions individuals make regarding their professional futures are already influenced by their experiences since the early stages of education and the context in which they have developed. However, concerning universities, it is evident that the period of university education plays a pivotal role in shaping individuals' professional paths. In this regard, the professional guidance provided by university institutions becomes crucial.

Granada University's professional guidance is based on three key principles:
1) Providing university students with specific information about the job market.
2) Proposing a suitable array of training initiatives for employment that facilitate the acquisition of essential professional skills needed for successful integration into the job market.
3) Delivering personalized career guidance actions beneficial for university students in defining their own insertion itinerary and making informed decisions about their professional development.

The University must place particular emphasis on transversal training contents that impart knowledge and develop skills (instrumental, interpersonal, and systemic) to enhance the effectiveness of students' transition to the workforce. Training for Employment takes on special significance within this framework. While various actors can be involved in the development of this type of training, specific actions require the collaboration of two fundamental agents: teaching staff and vocational guidance staff.

This paper outlines one of the ways in which this collaboration materializes at the University of Granada (UGR), detailing the actions and results achieved during the academic year 2022-23, by the technical staff of guidance and labor market insertion at the Centre for the Promotion of Employment and Internships of the UGR. Additionally, it highlights the actions of the Innovative Project and Good Teaching Practices (IPGT) titled "Mentoring and Professional Orientation for University Students through the Prism of Equality, Inclusion, and Sustainability" (This project have received support from the Quality, Innovation, and Planning Unit of the FIDO plan 2022-24 at the UGR).
