Abstract:
Problem Statement:
The study is a theoretical and methodological approach regarding the development of students’ competences for their social and professional integration using the dialog technique, named Scholar Interview Technique (SIT). In addition, this technique contributes to develop the students’ research competences, also, the positive people interaction that can make learning more relevant for own and community life.
Drawing from theory and practice, the paper proposes several didactic modalities which improve the students’ cognitive acquisitions and attitudes, responsibility and motivation in specific activities of research referring to the culture, civilisation and history of communities.
Using SIT the students learn to (de)construct a dialogue, correctly interpret the information, to use argues for accepting/ sustaining/ completing a discourse, to discuss problems and solutions. In this way, the students are encouraged to communicate and debate opinions, to have an appropriate attitude for different cultural communities.
Purpose of Study:
This study starts from the premise that Interview, as a dialog technique, is a perfect learning modality which provides greater students opportunities to learn in real world contexts combining learning goals, personal and professional development, community interests and particularities.
Results of Study:
This study argues that SIT is one of the best modalities to develop the skills and motivation for community history research, promote and valorise its results. The proposal presents the general aspects of SIT, the structure and its typology, the application steps, the conditions in which this is being done and the objectivity applied in collecting and interpreting the data, some ethical, moral and civic recommendations. In other words, using SIT it is hoped that the students will be able to „recover the local history” and „give the past and present to the community”. Also, it is a perfect modality to eliminate the attitudes based on prejudices and cultural and ethnic stereotypes which fuel the deviant social behaviors. Keywords:
