Abstract:
The European actual society is dominated by the liberal principles. One of these principles is the human’s equality, such as the equality between a man and a woman. But it is very complicated to say what means the gender differences and what means the gender discrimination.

Our proposal shows the gender problems which are presented in the Romanian education process. For this issue, the paper analyzed the handbooks of elementary educational system from the communist period. We noticed that, a few aspects of the gender differences have been kept in actual educational system. For this reason, we propose to find all of these aspects (like the physical and moral characteristics, the anatomic functional elements which defined a female person and a man person, the own occupations, domestic and professionals things) and to analyze what are their influence in the post- December Romanian society.

Our proposal argues that the studies of the gender differences of the communist ideology are very important for the students, because, for example, the students can understand better the actual realities, the people around them, and changes of world, the past and present life.
The students will be able to make the difference between stereotypes, manipulations and personal thinking.

We demonstrate that it is possible to include the problems of Romanian mentalities in academic curriculum. We propose some ways to analyze these aspects by the students. Also we insist about how may be integrating the study of the gender differences in curricula (on the modular, disciplinary and scientifically contends level).

Studying the gender aspects of the mentality of their community, the students can be able to make the appropriate gestures, to have the social correct behaviours and attitudes, to complete their preparation for a professional career.
