Abstract:
Sometimes it is necessary to remember a series of steps when you want to apply a certain algorithm/procedure. One way to help to remember these steps is through short videos (TikTok style), especially if you are involved in editing and evaluating them.

This paper shows the experience of a short videos competition between students in the subject “Logic” scheduled in the second year of the Computer Engineering degree, in the Escuela Superior de Ingeniería Informática of Albacete (University of Castilla-La Mancha). The aim of the video was to learn the algorithm for converting any formula in predicate logic into clausal form. The most common video format used was TikTok, since students are regular users in editing this kind of videos, so promoting a plus of wit and fun.

This experience not only enhanced the learning process of the students, but also allowed to improve the evaluation competence through peer assessment.

The details of this educational experience regarding methodology, participation, and satisfaction (of both students and teachers) are carefully reported in this paper.
