Abstract:
This work can be classified within the framework of new learning experiences in Higher Education. In the past edition of Edulearn 2013 we described the steps followed to reestructure the planing of a subject "Business Informatics" from the area of Business Sciences, changing from a traditional learning style to a more proactive one, this is, to a proyect-based learning style (PBL).The Bigger motivation involved in the PBL, displaying materials such as projects to be solved, for which is necessary to train in skills that aren't, a priori, dominated, carries a more connected approach to reality. From the beginning is perceived the practical use of the areas in which students need to form to satisfactorily resolve the proposed project. This dynamic approach leads on to greater involvement and intra and inter-group cooperation, working different cross-disciplinary skills, in turn, has resulted in better outputs: The 70% of students felt satisfied or very satisfied with this type of learning. The satisfaction feeling and greater involvement have been supported by a higher percentage of success (%76,17) with respect to past courses (%57,82). Throughout the present paper the practical implementation of this methodology is detailed, as well as the challenges and difficulties found, both the analisis of the results obtained. Finally, a set of planned areas of improvement are identified for future editions.
