Abstract:
This paper sets out to the appropriateness of values education as a component of all schooling. The development of our society has considerably changed priorities, needs and points of view. On the other hand, immigration has increased in few years and diversity is a common situation in schools. Differences and diversity often breed difficulties.
The development of values education is as important as any other aspect in the scholar curriculum, although it seems not to be capable of having practical curriculum impact.
We will consider the need the exigency and urgency of peace, equity, solidarity and human rights values education in order to resolve conflicts and other issues and to learn how to accept differences. Values education should be included in all the scholar curricula as a priority. When all qualities attached to the concepts of learning to live together are considered, education to achieve peace, human rights, democracy and sustainable development is undoubtedly a holistic linked process. All values related to peace are linked to those of human rights, democracy and sustainable development.
