Abstract:
The current study attempted to understand how students` behavioural engagement during online teaching can be enhanced during Pandemic like COVID-19. The global spread of the Coronavirus COVID-19 affected every aspect of business life, including education, resulting in the shift of classroom teaching to online globally. Keeping in view the growing concern about students` attentiveness, connectivity, participation, and interaction in the online, the authors underlined the critical need for paying empirical attention to this issue as dearth of research was noticed. The present study tested and found the significance of e-efficacy, e-resilience, and teacher`s instructional innovation towards harnessing students` online behavioural engagement through applying structural equation modeling. Accordingly, the study also found a notable role of teacher's instructional innovation as a moderator. The paper forwards implications for theory and practice, followed by limitations and scope for future scholars.
