Abstract:
The process of Strategic Planning, in the basically viewpoint, include strategy formulation, strategy implementation and strategy evaluation and control. For each company, formulating the strategies is one of the main activities that take much attention for achievement. The goal of this paper is to formulate strategies for Telecommunication sector. In order to meet this purpose we gather information from the Iranian Telecommunication Industry. After reviewing the existing literature of the field, by means of interview with experts and elites of the telecommunication sector, information was gathered. Then by means of a questionnaire the viewpoints of the experts and elites are gained. This information is analysed and evaluated by means of strategic planning matrixes and tools. In the final step the more significant strategies will be recognized and presented. The applied recommendations in the end of the paper will be presented. Keywords:
