Abstract:
From the perspective of inclusion as a concept immersed in all areas of the educational community, this study approaches the definitions of victim, demobilized and disengaged, in the context of the Colombian conflict, in order to frame the positions that the Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios (UNIMINUTO), Colombia, are executing in favor of the peace process that the country is currently carrying out. The figures that the State provides on the populations affected by the conflict and those that UNIMINUTO presents as part of its work in Colombian Higher Education are recognized.
Finally, the experiences of other nations are reviewed, in order to consider new lines of action to be implemented.
From a mixed approach, the university and the country are observed, using in situ information collection, documentary reviews and standardized formats of processes in the Benchmarking line, to gain the recognition of Higher Education institutions in the world.
