Abstract:

The drop is a social problem, and as such must be analyzed strategically to be able to provide proposals for solution. Performing qualitative and quantitative research focused on the level of tertiary level education dropout explanatory study is possible to understand the factors impacting it. These factors can be classified into four groups: psychological, economic, sociological and organizational.
The methods employed to reach the dynamic model have been: exhaustive bibliographic research, not experimental field research and modeling. In the first, a comprehensive, resorting to any kind of reliable sources bibliographic search is carried out: books, compilations, indexed and scientific magazines, newspaper articles, websites, among others. No experimental field research is carried out by survey and interview methods.
In the modeling phase, use systems theory to develop conceptual model, this is the causal diagram that establishes the cause and effect relationships of four factors with dropping out of school, as well as its sense, allowing know the type or class of causal cycle. Later, with help of specialized software, you reach the dynamic model.
With the generation of the model, the immediate result will be understanding as interrelated factors that determine the dropout in tertiary education institutions on time, setting a precedent for subsequent research.
