Abstract:
The school discipline such Informatics forms the foundations of informational culture, opening for students the way in practicing information and communications technology in the study of all school subjects, as the real field as well the humanitarian field.
Obviously, the implementation of information and communication technology in the educational system is a complex process, which, in addition to technical aspects (equipping educational institutions with computer equipment and communications software for general use), require innovative approaches in improving teachers, developing educational software, re - conception the teaching-learning reshape management education.
The need for information and communication systems implementation in education in Moldova aims to ensure universal access to a quality education, which is determined by the following factors:
- Explosive growth in the volume of information, which requires the shift from a training process based on storing knowledge to one that ensures skills acquisition development;
- Globalization of the economy, increased international flows of information, technologies, products and capital, which creates global competition in the competences domain;
- The impact of modern technologies, which change the nature and type of work habits and reduce the share of jobs requiring low qualifications.
Taking into consideration all of spoken above, by present paper the author tends to introduce auditors in the methodology of implementation of informational and communicational technologies in educational system of Republic of Moldova. Because every country has its specific methodology and way of implementation of technologies in education, a special attention will be given to Presidential Program “SALT” and national strategy creation of “Electronic Moldova”
In order to identify both barriers, and factors influencing the widespread application of information and communication technology have been materialized basic indicators which describe this process. Also, have been identified factors that promote the implementation of information and communication technology in the educational system.
In education domain, the National Strategy "Electronic Moldova" establishes as a general objective, the institutionalization of methods and techniques offered by information and communications in the educational system, especially to provide access to continuous training.
Also, the author tends to point future assignments concerning the implementation of information and communication technology in education system. As a result, expanding areas of use of information and communications technology in education involves: study improvement of theoretical foundations of informatics as the school discipline and implementation of information and communication training in the processes of learning all subjects, regardless of their affiliation to a particular curriculum area.
All of this would increase educational potential of Republic of Moldova and also economic growth.
