Abstract:
The modern world offers opportunities to be educated and trained in different countries. Leading universities often provide foreign students with a number of educational programs in their native language. However, in most cases,a foreign student has to master a host country language. Thus, in order to get higher education in Russia, foreign citizens learn Russian. Studying Russian as a foreign language allows foreigners to be taught in the chosen field in Russian. Therefore, studying Russian as a foreign language in the educational and vocational sphere is one of the major tasks at the pre-university education stage. Daily practice shows that studying of different social disciplines in Russian presents a number of difficulties.They are caused not only from the complexity of categorical and conceptual apparatus inherent in scientific language, but also arise from lack of foreign students communication skills and abilities. This explains the need to create materials on the language of the specialty within Russian as a foreign language course. The article discusses the methods and techniques that will prepare foreigners for being taught in higher education human sciences programs in Russian: sociology, political science, economics, psychology, and others. To this end, the authors of the article offer various systems of exercises aimed at developing of professional communication skills.
