Abstract:

Higher education nowadays faces a process of renovation and transformation causing the progress of the more and more competitive society, generating reflections about the education quality and research, guaranteeing information technologies equally accessible to all, creating suitable conditions and infrastructure for the use of such technologies, looking for the incorporation of new strategies of learning, the virtual platforms are ideal media that center the processes of learning in the students and their needs. EDUCAFI is a support tool to teaching that permits the interaction between teachers and students of the Engineering School of the National Autonomous of Mexico (UNAM), with a suitable and simple environment in the integration of the Technologies of the Information and Communication (TIC’s) as support of the process of education learning, favoring the teaching activity by extending the knowledge of the students outside the classroom. This on-line educative platform offers from the b-learning courses implementation until the teaching of Master's degree.
