Abstract:
In connection with the development of ICT, the increasing need for people to learn everywhere and always, as well as in connection with the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, the count of lessons conducted using distance learning technologies (DLT) has increased. For a full-fledged organization of the educational process on DLT, an appropriate Learning Management System (LMS) is required. In this paper, we will consider the following LMS Docebo, Adobe Captivate Prime, SAP Litmos LMS, TalentLMS, Open edX, Moodle, Canvas, Edmodo, Blackboard, iSpring Learn, which are widespread in the world. We will also consider LMS in Kazakhstan. LMS Moodle is most often used as a distance learning platform. Less common are systems such as Sirius and Tamos. The Platonus learning management system, widely used in Kazakhstan, practically does not support the distance learning format. In addition, the Platonus system does not cover many of the university's business processes, including the educational process. In this paper, authors analyze publications on LMS used in DLT.
