Abstract:

This paper describes the issues of digitalization of higher education in Kazakhstan. The relevance of work on the automation and the employment of artificial intelligence in the run-up to the fourth industrial revolution is substantiated. A review of the used learning management systems in Kazakhstan. Describes the ongoing work on the digitization of educational processes in KazUEFIT. In particular, the E-UNIVERSITY project describes its architecture, as well as the foundation of the educational process at the university. The project proposes to develop a system for analyzing university activities. This smart system will constantly make recommendations to the management on improving the quality of the main types of university activities. The principal difference between the idea of the Project and the existing analogues is that it is proposed to develop a single smart education management system. Universities typically use many different unrelated information systems. Our project offers a single solution to automate the main activities of the university.
