Abstract:
This study is carried out in order to find out the channel of communication used by respondents in a variety of workplace communication situations. There are two types of respondents who participate in this study: Malaysian and international respondents. The international respondents are currently working in Malaysia. The respondents consist of middle and top level management (executives and managers) working in different industries in Malaysia. A set of questionnaire was sent to three hundred local and international respondents respectively. The questions ask them to state a channel of communication they would use in a given situation.
