This paper proposes three scaffolding models for remedial student in using augmented reality system and a story book. These models are scaffolding model for exploration in augmented reality system, scaffolding model for reading story book and scaffolding model for test modules. These models are based on theories, guidelines and previous researches of scaffolding. Moreover, its provide a pedagogical support and successful scaffolding approaches. Findings from this study is important for educators to use these models in assisting and facilitating remedial students in learning how to read with the help of augmented reality technology.
