Abstract:
In the last years we have experienced the consolidation of the European Higher Education Area, and within it the model of competences training. Nowadays, it is important that undergraduates acquire not only contents, but also essential skills for their future professional career. The students’ training in competences has meant the transformation of the traditional classroom, too; therefore, the moment has come to assess the way in which skills have been developed in Higher Education, and also how university teachers evaluate them. Our target is to explore the examples of good practices for training and developing competences, as well as the different tools that teachers have created to evaluate them. For this task, we use different types of analytic instruments, such as focus groups and interviews in which students and teachers will participate. Results will help us identify the best practices that have been used so far, as well as the main tasks that still need to be fulfilled in this sense.
