Abstract:
Learning Management System (LMS), like Moodle, has been widely used to support teaching and requires the design of training courses for teachers. Generally, materials designed for teacher training on LMS are manuals on paper format. In the face training courses we have seen many times, teachers need flexible solutions, so that the use of training video tutorials can complement traditional manuals. The video tutorials teach the use of LMS in a dynamic environment, which promotes learning.
The aim of this paper is to present an experience conducted at the University of Burgos, in which the face training courses about the use of our LMS (UBUVirtual) have been complemented with video tutorials. This experience has been developed by an interdisciplinary group of teachers and grant holders belonging to an educational innovation group. This paper describes the activities developed in the courses design and their relationship with the generated video tutorials, as well as the creation and publication of them in a YouTube channel.
