Abstract:
In this paper we are going to present an innovation project applied on several subjects during the current academic year 2014-15 in the University of Valencia.

It aims to promote, through web 2.0 and 3.0 (semantic wiki), the open publication of data generated by an educational community in order to enable new services and applications from them, increasing learning collaborative. Social relationships and interactions between people in the acquisition of knowledge have been recognized as the basis elements learning theories. Ability to work in groups to achieve common goals appears as a transversal competence learning at all levels of education. Wikis play a leading role in educational settings, giving systems that incorporate a tool for performing learning activities. The purpose of this project is to design a proposal to develop semantic wikis in the context of a subject, enabling the disclosure consistent, collaboratively developed for it to be shared by the school community. It tries, therefore, to provide content to educational open data web so that the information is available in a format standard as RDF and be consulted by allowing query languages appropriate through friendly interfaces. The application domain is that of teaching web applications. However, the approach is sufficiently flexible to allow for the future addition of other content areas. Using semantic technologies social networks provide new additional powers to those provided by the content subject. Moreover, the use of these technologies, promote the interest and motivation of the student through group work, and therefore the acquisition of knowledge related to the subject. Finally, these technologies will facilitate dissemination of the work done by the construction of digital learning objects (web resources) that allow, on the one hand, an internal group collaborative learning, and secondly, knowledge-based feedback in the comments and evaluations by external students to the working group.

This project could be applied to any subject taught at the University although we focused in this first year, the domain of web applications, because they are in those with a greater presence of teachers who belong to this group innovation, and also by the fact that the proposed technologies are directly related to its objectives:
a) "Advanced Web Applications" (AWA), 4th year, which simultaneously teaches students from 3 distinct grades: Computer Sciences Engineering, Telematics Engineering and Multimedia Engineering. This course is allowing apply the innovation project with students on a different profile and training, allowing the assessment of the project results, the performance of a comparison between them. The total number of students has been 42,
b) “Semantic Web and Web Services” (SWWS) with only 12 students, which is taught in the Master of Engineering Services and Web Applications. This course will allow us to apply the innovation project on a typology diametrically opposed to the AWA profiles (master´s students).

We will assess the differences and similarities of the results obtained in the implementation of the project.

It is necessary to clarify that the implementation of this project to other subjects, not related to technologies used, will require more effort. The adoption of a new collaborative models of learning and study is encouraged, and allowed assess the skills and abilities of students
Details about the implemented semantic wikis will be showed.
