Abstract:
The abstract is about the didactic materials (class books) in the signature of History in the semi-schooled system of the Public High Schools of Mexico City's government (Institution known with the acronym IEMS-DF). This is just one part of my research about this educational system. I will talk about the origins of the institution, the evaluation systems and the student's academic profile at IEMS-DF.
My research is part of a M.A. in High school education program, focused in the branch of History. However I work no more with this institution, I would like to share my working experiences as a teacher of History at IEMS-DF. Because this institution has some new ideas and concepts around the High School education system. For example, the students have no numeric evaluations and they must make a dissertation to obtain their High School certificate if they want to continue their studies in a university. Keywords:
