Abstract:
Nowadays, education at technical focused schools is evaluated at a high level in the field of vocational subjects, but the practice requirements are pointing to a lack of knowledge in basic economical and entrepreneurial skills. Therefore the best technical faculty began education in 2010 with introducing and implementing the innovative education system in the mentioned area. This is the field mainly of financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills training and managerial simulations. The main aim of this article is to point out the results of improving the graduates' profile by completing an innovative education that meets the needs of the practice. These results are confirmed by research of the project Innochem 2016 which was realized in cooperation with the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology and the Association of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry of the Slovak Republic.
