Abstract:
The students of the department Business Management of HUBrussel are used to work with a digital portfolio that is focused on their internships. This portfolio is linked to the competence profiles of their bachelor programme.

One reason for the change from a paper-portfolio to a digital portfolio is the growing amount of work in coaching internships (at this moment about 300 students in the last 2 bachelor years). Another reason for automation is the orientation to competences and the intensitivity to coach every competence of every student.

Students evaluate themselves, they add digital content to document their competences, they maintain a logbook, they interact with external and internal goaches. These goaches also can add evidence to the portfolio’s and evaluate or score the students growth. The activity-calender acts a sort of agenda with common appointments for all participants and send signals such as e-mails to warn when tasks are over due-time.

The demo will focus on the practical implementation and follow-up of students.
Eye-catcher is the goaching module that permits efficient consulting of portfolio-data and competences.
