Abstract:
Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) are a useful didactic support for experiences that provide a richer learning environment. Several previous projects have been developed by the authors to introduce our students in Virtual Teaching to achieve effective learning environments and to improve the teacher-student interaction using learning modules. In the notes platform at the virtual campus of the University of Jaén, teaching materials were adapted to a more dynamic process and learning guidelines were stated. Now taking into account that we understand that e-learning is all that is distributed in an electronic way for the explicit purpose of learning and on the other hand, considering the evaluation of previous experiences, a considerable number of students do not have internet access at everywhere, the aim of the new project is to develop an educational pen drive. This educational pen drive includes teaching material developed in previous experiences and new didactic and interactive materials.

This paper describes the work accomplished as well as the contents that have been included to reinforce the class learning and to promote students’ active and autonomous learning. The aim is to supply students with a pen drive which contains video lectures to introduce them in the use of statistic packages and learning training materials (learning modules with activities and guidelines for solving them and spread sheets to repeat standard exercises without need to accomplish the volume of calculations that they suppose), web addresses and references. This pen drive is available and accessible for all students and promotes study without internet access and offers material for working group activities.
