Abstract:
It is well known that integration of Information and Communication Technology in the educational process leads to an improved teaching - learning process. The current researches indicate that use of digital tools can contribute to the valorization of primary school students’ competences. This paper aim is to identify the level of usage the web technologies in teaching process in a country with poor economic performance and limited resources in education. We surveyed 100 primary school teachers about their perception on using digital tools in educational process. A social survey questionnaire was created and administered face to face. Statistical analyses show that most teachers were concerned about how the current organization of the educational system in Romania facilitates the use of digital tools in primary school teaching. The study enabled a hierarchy of factors that determine significant changes in teaching practice in primary education. These findings provide useful information for the managerial, institutional and educational political changes.
